The North Shore’s favorite superfood cafe, The Sunrise Shack, has officially landed in Long Beach. We are thrilled to announce that Common Room Roasters is the exclusive coffee partner for their first-ever Mainland location. 

From the North Shore to the LBC

If you’ve ever found yourself on the North Shore of Oahu, you know the iconic yellow shack. Founded by brothers Alex, Koa, and Travis Smith, along with their friend Koa Rothman who are all professional surfers and know a thing or two about early mornings, The Sunrise Shack was born out of a desire for healthy, high-vibe fuel.

They’ve mastered the art of the perfect Açaí bowl and superfood coffee, and now, they are bringing their good vibes to a brand-new location in Long Beach, right near the LBCC.

When the Sunrise Shack team decided to expand to the Mainland, we knew the partnership had to be rooted in quality and consistency. We are proud to announce that Common Room Roasters is the official coffee partner for the new Long Beach location.

The Sunrise Shack’s philosophy is all about using the best ingredients to help you live your brightest life. By pairing their famous Superfood Coffees and smoothie bowls with our high-quality beans, we’re ensuring that every sip you take in Long Beach tastes just as vibrant as a morning at Sunset Beach.

Located just steps away from Long Beach City College, the new Shack is designed to be your neighborhood sanctuary. Whether you’re fueling up for a study session, heading to the beach, or just need a mid-day reset, here is what’s waiting for you:

Signature Coffees: Powered by Common Room Roasters espresso and specialty beans. Grab your go-to favorite, or try their superfood version blended with grass-fed butter, MCT oil, and natural sweeteners.

Açaí & Smoothie Bowls: The same legendary recipes that made them a North Shore staple.

The Famous Vibe: Bright yellow walls, tropical energy, and a space designed to make you feel better walking out than you did walking in.

We are incredibly proud to support The Sunrise Shack crew as they expand their "Health & Happiness" mission to our backyard. This isn’t just a new cafe; it’s a bridge between the surf culture of Hawaii and the vibrant community of Long Beach.
